NUFG E-mail Discussions

The Northern United Forestry Group has sustained an e-mail discussion group over several years. The primary purpose of the group is to communicate results flowing from NUFG projects funded under the National Landcare Program and the more recent Caring for our Country Program.  The intent is to communicate results as they are  collected and assessed. The same are discussed in a more abbreviated form at monthly meetings of the NUFG.

The e-mail discussion group provides a forum that allows the science flowing from NUFG activities to be shared as it develops among key members of State and Commonwealth agencies, NUFG members, participating landholders, and key policy developers.

Membership of the e-mail group includes key scientists throughout Australia, participating NUFG members, members of Catchment Management Authorities in Victoria, members of Local Government in Victoria, other community-based NRM groups that share an interest in land and water management, and key members of community-based conservation and environment forums.

The e-mails presented below have been sent by NUFG scientists to the e-mail group to promote NUFG results and provoke discussion over their potential meaning. Responses to the same have not been published out of respect for those that continue to provide confidential insight based upon their specialist knowledge and expertise.

If you would like to participate in the e-mail group please write to us at nufg(at)nufg.org.au.
