Bill's Family Visits Kamarooka
On Tuesday 20 January 2015 a special family visited the NUFG saltland reclamation project at Kamarooka. Stewart Gallagher and his wife and children came over from Perth to see the work Bill (Stewart's father) completed in establishing our education centre (now the Bill Gallagher Education Centre), and to meet some of the NUFG folk that had such high regard for Bill.
A couple of us (James Williams and Phil Dyson) met the family in Bendigo in the morning for a coffee and a chat followed by a short tour of the city and lunch ahead of journeying northward to Kamarooka to meet up with Andy and Carmel Hay, and Keith and Ann Murphy.
Bill was a special man and a great friend and respected member of the Northern United Forestry Group.
